Collaboom BIG update

BIG UPDATE As Collaboom has continued to grow and met more creators and brands across the platform, we took this moment to overhaul how creator quality is measured and rewarded. With a bigger community comes the responsibility to make our systems clearer, fairer, and more meaningful — so this release rebuilds the foundation. A new Reputation system, brand-issued Gold Cards, a clearer penalty system with Red Cards, and a dashboard that finally treats your progress like progress. 01 · THE SIGNAL "Score" is now "Reputation" The number that brands use to evaluate you was called "Score." That was vague — it sounded like a game leaderboard. We're renaming it to Reputation, because that's exactly what it is: your quality signal to every brand on the platform. Everything that affected your old Score still affects your Reputation in the same way. Nothing about your number changed — only the label is clearer. +50 reputation on signup (welcome bonus) +2 when you confirm product delivery +10 when your upload is verified — a fixed amount per completed campaign (no more 0–10 range) No ceiling. Reputation now climbs past 100 — high-performing creators are no longer capped 02 · THE PENALTY Red Cards replace flat point penalties Missing a deadline used to subtract a flat −10 points regardless of where you stood. That punished low-reputation creators heavily and barely touched high-reputation ones. Now misses issue a Red Card — a permanent record with a proportional penalty. HOW A RED CARD WORKS −10% of your current reputation (floor-rounded) FIFO clearance: two clean completions after a Red Card clears the oldest one 3 active Red Cards → account suspension (admin manual release only) If admin reverses a missed-deadline, the Red Card is voided and the exact penalty refunded A 7-day grace period after a miss still lets you upload your content and earn the cash reward — only the deadline-related penalty changed. 03 · THE HONOR Gold Cards: a brand's permanent honor Brand new this release. When a collaboration is exceptional, the brand can award you a Gold Card — the rarest thing a creator can carry on the platform. One-time +20% of current reputation (locked in at the moment it's issued) A permanent badge on your profile — visible to every brand from then on One per campaign max — no double-awards Seven categories: Beauty · Food · Lifestyle · Skincare · Hair · Fashion · Fitness Never decays. Never expires. Yours forever. 04 · THE LADDER Tiers now move on completed campaigns, not score thresholds Previously, tier was a function of your score (≥85 = VIP). Now it's earned by finishing campaigns clean — a stable, predictable ladder that doesn't shift with every reputation change. TIER 1 · STARTING Up to 3 active campaigns. Includes the Start Here promo. Default for new creators. TIER 2 · STANDARD Up to 5 active campaigns. Higher-value brand briefs unlocked. Earned after 3 successful completions from Starting. TIER 3 · VIP Unlimited campaigns. VIP-exclusive briefs, priority access windows, direct-line support. Earned after 5 more successful completions from Standard (8 lifetime). Pending tier review: if you hit the campaign count but had a Red Card during the run, your promotion goes to admin review instead of auto-firing — to keep the higher tier meaningful. 05 · THE DASHBOARD Redesigned with an XP meter and a Gold Card collection The old dashboard treated every metric with identical visual weight — your Reputation looked the same as Cash Earned, which buried the primary signal. We rebuilt it with a clear hierarchy: Reputation Hero — billboard-size number with your tier badge inline and an XP-style progress bar to the next tier ("3 more successful campaigns → VIP") Activity 2×2 — Done, Gold Cards, Red Cards, Missed. Paired by valence: wins on top, cautions on bottom. Each lights up only when it has something to say (zero stays muted) Cash Earned — its own ledger row, distinct from activity counters "My Gold Cards" collection — every Gold Card you've earned, rendered as the actual card (gold metallic frame + brand + category), in a horizontal carousel. Invisible until you earn your first one "How Collaboom Works" collapses — the FAQ wall no longer dominates your scroll on first load Same data, same clicks, same destinations — the bones didn't change, the editorial did. 06 · THE MAP A new /score-tier page that explains all of it A single page that walks through the entire system end-to-end: how reputation earns, how tiers move, what Red Cards mean and how to clear them, and what a Gold Card actually does. Read it once and you'll know exactly where you stand and how to climb. Open the explainer → WHAT HASN'T CHANGED Your reputation number — the math behind it is the same, only the label changed from "Score" Your cash earnings, payout flow, and minimums ($50 minimum payout) Application flow, content submission, and grace-period rules A rejected application still doesn't affect your reputation Questions?
