Collaboom updates - Starting from April 2026
Hello Creators,We want to share an important update with you.Over the past few months, our team has been working closely with a wide range of beauty brands and agencies to bring more opportunities to Collaboom. We know that recently there have not been enough campaigns available, and we truly understand how frustrating that can feel. During this time, we have been focused on building stronger partnerships and securing better deals so that we can open more consistent and meaningful collaborations for our creator community. As we continued these conversations, we identified a key barrier. In many cases, the usage rights terms on Collaboom were shorter than what brands typically expect in the market, and sometimes usage rights were not included at all. Because of this, there were brands that wanted to work with our creators but were not able to move forward with posting campaigns on the platform. After careful consideration, we have decided to update the usage rights structure across several campaign types. We want to be transparent about what this means. There is nothing new you need to do as a creator. Your process remains exactly the same. However, we believe it is important that you are fully aware when a brand has usage rights to your content, and for how long, before you choose to participate in a campaign. We also want to be honest with you. Within the current structure of Collaboom, it is difficult to significantly increase collaboration fees at this time. Instead, through our ongoing discussions with brands and agencies, we are focusing on creating more frequent opportunities, across more campaigns, with a wider variety of brands. Our goal is to make sure that more creators can access more opportunities on a consistent basis. At Collaboom, protecting nano and micro creators has always been our highest priority. More than any single brand deal, each creator matters to us. Every decision we make is guided by one principle. We want to build a system where creators can grow, earn, and be treated fairly, even without a large following. This update is part of that long term vision. By aligning more closely with market expectations, we are able to bring in more brands, which ultimately leads to more opportunities for you. Here is what is changing:Basic Campaign, Link in Bio Campaign, Amazon Video Campaign->Previous: No usage rights->Updated: 4 weeks of usage rights includedPremium CampaignIncludes 1 TikTok video upload, 1 Amazon Storefront video upload, usage rights, and contractPrevious: 6 months of usage rightsUpdated: 12 months of usage rightsLink in Bio Posting PeriodPrevious: 2 weeksUpdated: 4 weeksWhat usage rights mean on CollaboomUsage Rights grant brands legal permission to use influencer-created content beyond the original post.
